MKRO is the alias of 31 year old American bass music producer, Marc Carrillo, from Los Angeles, CA. 

MKRO started his music career with the taste of tour life at the age of 18 when his mentor, DJ MOTIV8 (OFFICIAL DJ OF THE BLACK EYED PEAS) took him international as his personal DJ assistant. From Russia to Macau to Austria and Germany, this young protege learned what life was like as a traveling artist and playing for thousands.

Soon after, MKRO collaborated with another aspiring producer in his hometown and formed Knuckle Down. Under this collab alias, Knuckle Down competed in Tiesto's Your Shot DJ competition and had the opportunity to meet Tiesto.

Marc then pursued his solo music career as MKRO and enrolled as a student of Defyre Society. Because of this, he has been mentored by sound design icon Oddprophet (Never Say Die Records), heavy weight bass producer Spacesuit (ICON Collective), and the heavy hitter Prosecute. Marc also started his own youtube channel as a way to help other aspiring producers with music production tutorials, gaining an audience of like minded individuals.

MKRO now resides in Orlando, Florida.
